I once learned of a married couple who started attending a local church. They enjoyed the atmosphere and decided they wanted to become members.

The pastor set up a pre-screen membership interview, and during the interview he discovered that both the husband and wife were divorcees. He informed them that they would not be allowed to join that particular assembly because according to scripture God hates divorce—-and although they were forgiven spiritually they were technically committing adultery every time they dared to have intimate physical relations with one another. (In other words, they were forgiven spiritually but they were defiled physically. LOLLL!).

The pastor then graciously informed them that they were more than welcome to continue to fellowship at that particular assembly—-and he even assured them they would always be welcomed and treated as full fledged members of the Body of Christ—-they just would not be allowed to join that particular assembly.

Silly doctrines such as this concerning the topic of divorce and how it relates to the bible is why I wrote this e book in the first place. Reckless doctrines do nothing but place innocent souls under needless dark clouds of spiritual guilt and condemnation. I am sure that God does hate divorce, but no where in the bible does it make such a declaration. More accurately, Malachi 2:16 says that God hates PUTTING AWAY—-PUTTING AWAY AND DIVORCE are not the same thing!

This e book proves beyond any shadow of a doubt that the terms PUT AWAY and DIVORCE are spelled differently and have different definitions in English, Greek (the New Testament), and Hebrew (the Old Testament).

The following is a short video preview of my very compelling e book: What the Bible Really Says About Divorce! It’s Not What You’ve Been Taught!

I can’t argue with the premise. It looks like my pastor may have been wrong all of these years, But no one interprets the bible perfectly. And that includes you sir! All in all Great Job!!!!!!!!!

Pastors increasingly are facing questions from parishioners regarding how the Bible itself defines marriage and divorce. Offering answers based on church tradition is not sufficient — parishioners want to know what God’s Word has to say.

In this e book, Brother Nelson provides a very concise summary of the Biblical understanding of marriage and divorce. I commend him for his loyalty to the Scriptures verses church tradition. Excellent job!

Divorce and remarriage are two topics best dealt with in a case-by-case basis because of the circumstances that are facing those who are contemplating divorce and/or remarriage. Each situation is different therefore there are no absolutes.
